birthday 2006-
celebrated tim and my birthday today.
was rather sad cos i didnt have my grandparents around...
i remember vividly how grandma loved to complain about how she disliked chocolate flavoured cakes because of their dark colour. ha and that grandpa will never take any cake cos of his dibetic condition. all these i remembered.
anyway,fellowship at dinner was good. everyone got to catch up i suppose. at least it is very much the case for me. i am so glad we are growing as a christian family-tim even led us in saying grace before food. this also reminds me of the need for my grandparents' salvation. please keep them in prayer..
it was neither the spread at the table nor the ice cream cake that made me happy. guess it wasnt happiness but contentment that brought joy. to come to think of it,its been long time since everyone came together for a gathering of such...
man fails but God NEVER fails.
the Lord is my shepherd; he is my strength.
though i may not understand thy will and thy way,
but i trust the Lord knows what is best for me.
i may not see what good it will bring to me now,
but if it is thy will,then let thy will be done.
i am willing to give it up.
like Abraham who was faithful-he was willing to give issac his beloved son as offering to the Lord when he was told to do so.
its not so easy but the Lord will see me through.
