did i tell you,that the westlife concert at SIS the other day was BRILLIANT!!!
it made up for the all-work-no-play holidays alright.
true enough,they sang justin timberlake's senorita and pussycat dolls' dont cha!
the opening song was "FLYING WITHOUT WINGS" followed by "HIT YOU WITH THE REAL THING". other songs from their new album that they performed include,"YOU RAISE ME UP", "AMAZING", "SHE'S BACK" and "COLOUR MY WORLD". not forgetting good old "SWEAR IT AGAIN" and "SEASONS IN THE SUN" from their very first album. "WHAT MAKES A MAN" , "UPTOWN GIRL" and "WHEN YOU'RE LOOKING LIKE THAT" from coast to coast. "QUEEN OF MY HEART" from world of our own. "MANDY" and "HEY WHATEVER" from mandy. they sang "ADDICTED TO LOVE" and "WILD WILD WEST" before performing "SENORITA" and "DONT CHA", the two special performance which sent the whole crowd ever screaming.
guess i only sat at my seat before the concert while anxiously waiting for it to start. goodness,we were just below the very stage with westlife performing! i was rather sad though,when they sang the older songs,the parts that bryan(former loifer) sang had to be sung by the others. not saying that i dont enjoy the singing of rest of the members of the band. i just thought it was a pity bryan could not be there anymore to sing; "QUEEN OF MY HEART" was incomplete. nevertheless,westlife is going on STRONGER THAN BEFORE even without bryan. they'll be recording their new album soooooooon and i so cant wait! here's to WESTLIFE!
